About
Dean Gee
I started singing professionally in 2005. In those early days I was mainly known as a Swing & Rat Pack artist, with a soundalike impression of Dean Martin which developed into a full on tribute act.
This enabled me to gain some cruise ship contracts with Thomsons and P&O, as well as many holiday and hotel destinations across Europe, while still entertaining at all types of venues and functions in the UK.
I gradually extended my repertoire to include a wide selection of Michael Buble songs and many other classic tracks across the decades and in several major genres.
This has allowed me to widen the range of events and functions I can perform at, having the width of repertoire to delight most audiences.
Although I don’t cater for the youngest crowds and the most up-to-date chart music, there has been a huge revival in appreciation for the classic decades of the last century among some younger audiences who now dance and sing along to the greatest hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
This is where I have been most successful in the last few years.
I now classify myself as a ‘Party Singer’. This is a wide category, but includes all kinds of private and corporate functions, as well as restaurants, clubs, casinos and other quality music venues.
With 20 years experience I can handle whatever my clients want and always leave my audience delighted, and usually weary after a night of dancing!
I am passionate about my job which is very much a ‘labour of love’ and I simply love entertaining people and bringing happy memories and joy to my audience. The most common comment I get from people after a show is that ‘we can see how much you love doing this and it shows all through the performance’.
“Music is the strongest form of magic”
– Marilyn Manson –
Singing is my job – but it is also so much more than that…it is an integral and huge part of my life – and that life has meaning when I have left any room full of people happy and feeling that they have been part of a special occasion!
